    Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Set before the Iron Man trilogy and the Avengers series, it tells the story of how Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) becomes Captain Marvel, one of the most powerful superheroes ever which her makes Captain Marvel  the first female-led superhero movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe . After a freak accident gives Danvers alien superpowers, she teams up with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to save Earth from a war between two alien races. Like most Marvel movies, it's safe to expect sci-fi action, violence, and some strong language.
